Day SEVEN: Sacred Waters

Water is a vital resource for both our physical and energetic bodies. Water holds the power to purify us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. 

We've covered many of the physical and mental benefits of adequate hydration. Now let's explore the more spiritual and energetic aspects of water. 

Water has been revered by most cultures over the centuries, involved in many sacred rituals. When I sit in ceremony here in Costa Rica, each gathering offers a sacred water blessing. An altar is prepared and many songs and prayers are offered in this extended celebration.  and reverence for the sacred waters. A water blessing that holds deep meaning and healing. 

Simple moments within our daily healthy habits of hydration, intentionally blessing and activating our water can offer a vastness of joy, inspiration and healing. 

We all hold the potential to infuse our water with intention through thoughts, speech, prayers and by placing positive words and affirmations on or under your drinking vessel and infusing with frequencies & vibrations (see Frequency suggestions below!). 

In his groundbreaking research, Japanese scientist Dr. Emoto demonstrated that water has memory and is influenced by human consciousness, thoughts, words, music, emotions, etc. In his famous Water Crystal Experiments and subsequent photographs, Emoto showed that positive and negative words can change the shape of water molecules.

Conversely, when water is exposed to negative words, harsh, irregular shapes form.
