A habit is defined as a routine or practice performed regularly.
For many of us, our habits are on autopilot, running daily without giving it too much thought. We get up, we brush our teeth, we check our phones, we eat breakfast (maybe), etc.
Whether we are aware of it or not we are building habits all of the time.

"Depending on what they are, our habits will either make us or break us. We become what we repeatedly do" -Stephen Covey.

If we want real change in our life, taking an honest assessment of our daily habits and adjusting accordingly (choosing habits that support your goal) will make a massive difference.

Here are a few quick tips on how to build a habit:

- Pick one thing and commit to doing it every day for the month (consistency)

- Understand your WHY. Why is this habit important to you? How will it positively impact your life?

- Practice not perfection. This is a journey. Be curious, practice compassion.

- If you miss a day, pick it up the next day. Be mindful of your inner dialogue and beliefs (especially around failure).

- Set achievable goals, focus on building one habit at a time.

- Track your progress. If your goal is to drink more water, keep a daily log. Set reminders throughout the day, use an app, keep a bottle close by and know how much fluid that vessel holds.

- Community support. We're in this together. Reach out if you need guidance, to share insights & successes!

The secret to transformation is in the little things: Simple daily habits. Consistently. Persistently.
