Meditation holds a special place in my heart for its ability to quickly calm and rebalance the nervous system, to neutralize negative thoughts, and to transmute emotions and energy. Meditation invites more stillness and introspection into our life so that we may move through our days with more ease and grace.

Of course, I think/know/believe all the healthy habits we're exploring are incredibly potent. And they are all interconnected and synergistic.

💗 Infusing our water with love and positivity is a form of meditation.

💗 Bringing more mindfulness to the selection, preparation and consumption of our food and blessing our meals are forms of prayer and meditation. 

💗 Meditation is connected to breath. Breath (and meditation) are the anchors to the present moment, creating more space within mind and body in the here and now.

💗 Meditation relieves stress, improves sleep and builds resilience.

💗 Movement can be a form of meditation, and vice versa.

Meditation is such a personal experience and it offers immense benefits to everyone. It doesn’t have to be sitting in a cross-legged position as you try to empty your thoughts and mind. You can use guided meditations, moving meditations, breath work, sound healing therapies, Qi gong, frequencies! It is a process of discovery, exploration, and curiosity to find what works for you and resonates. A consistent meditation practice alone will change your life.

Even 5-10 minutes a day can have profound effects. If you're new to meditation you might like to try guided meditation, walking meditations or simple breathwork techniques. YouTube has a wealth of options.
